A Pause at the Start of 2026

The calendar has turned, but the pace doesn’t need to — especially in these first few days of the new year.

If you’re quietly considering a change in 2026, this stretch between the holidays and full speed is worth protecting especially when New Years Day falls on a Thursday. Heading into the weekend you don’t need a plan yet. You don’t need to solve what’s next. What you do need is space.

Take a walk. Sleep in. Cook at home. Watch some football without multitasking. Let your mind drift a bit — clarity tends to show up when we stop forcing it.

Take gentle inventory:
-What energized you last year?
-What drained you?
-What are you no longer willing to carry forward?

Roles change. Experience and judgment don’t.

Sometimes progress isn’t about speed — it’s about choosing the right direction before you leave the harbor.

Wishing you a calm start to 2026 and a thoughtful next chapter.
